Install .NET Framework 3.5 on Windows 10

A default installation of Windows 10 contains the .NET 4.7 framework which is not compatible with the .NET legacy frameworks 2.0 - 3.5. In course to support software which depend on .NET 3.5 the framework needs to be installed manually.

• Click on Start (or press the Windows key)
• Type (to search): windows feature
• Turn Windows features on or off should show up. Open it.

• Check .NET Framework 3.5 (includes .NET 2.0 and 3.0) and click OK

• The installer might want to download the installation source

• You might need to restart your computer after the installation
